All I Wanna Do Is D.A.N.C.E. (And P.O.S.T, And Not Study!!!)

OK so I couldn't wait/focus on study, so here it is, something to tide you over I've been working on this P.O.S.T. for a while, turns out it's my 20th! Woo Hoo. Awesome-ness. Hope you like it. Make sure you read the warnings tho. or it could get ugly. lol...

WARNING: There are remixes of Justice's D.A.N.C.E. below. If you dislike this track for any reason, be it general dislike, or 'I liked it, but I've heard it so much, I'll cut my ears or next time I hear it, but it's still a good track, and I don't blame Justice' etc etc. If this is you, ignore this post. For those still wanting more, get scrolling.

Haven't been able to get enough of Justice's great, yet overly played hit, D.A.N.C.E?

(Download Vid)

My answer is Y.E.S! I have been able to get enough. About 12 times enough, maybe more!

Hence I decided to make this, a definitive post full of all the dancin' you, or anyone can handle (minus most of the legit stuff, BUY THE SINGLE). At least now next time you hear Justice played it might be a different remix.

For your viewing pleasure and ease, I've put the tracks in alphabetical order so you can just read down the list, and pick up the ones your missing.

But wait there's more...

Picture is in honour of M*A*S*H. I just finished watching the final series. Yes I'm a N*E*R*D. (That was the clincher wasn't it!) OK. REVELATION! I knew I was a nerd, but I didn't realise how much, that fact I was doing the calculations should have been a hint. But it wasn't until I got the numbers...
36DVDs
11 Seasons
6560 Minutes
109 Hours
4.5 Days!

HOLY FUCK!... Good show tho, but I should have been studyin. Anyway... the Mashups below.

Justice vs Death From Above 1979 vs Shiny Toy Guns vs Boys Noize vs Young Love - Find A Sexy Way D.A.N.C.E. (Luvtek Mash-Up)
Justice vs Jay-Z - Show Me How To D.A.N.C.E. (Christopher Roberts Mashup)
Justice vs Data - D.A.T.A.N.C.E. (Paste Back Mashup)

Overall, I'd have to say Zoltar's I my favourite at the moment. Got no idea who he is unless this is him.

Let us know your favourite mix in the comments (same if anyone's found some good ones that aren't here, surely that's impossible? Yes?).

In regards to my last post: Tears For Fears - Mad World (Original) and I've been trying to study lately so these mixes from Have Fun Club (was going to abbreviate to HFC but it sounds too much like KFC), Dave's latest premier (a sample in their sounds like/reminds me of Daft Punks 'Human...Human...Human') & this site has really been hooking me up lately with my weird study habit of pretty much only listening to Hip Hip / Rap style music. Cheers to TheHoodInternet. Check out their mixtape from back in June:

New Yorke, New Yorke (Sort Of)

Sort of, as in it's not all exactly 'new'. But it is all Yorke, Thom Yorke in fact (pictured above, gettin' his mud on). I've decided that uni is not completly gay today. Since it's the last week and my net at home has been slowed down, I decided to use my remaining bandwidth at Uni to up some tracks. Scroll down for the goodness.

Brought to us by: XXXChange (from Spank Rock), Stretch & Vern, Satahsi Tomiie

Here are the tracks:

Thom Yorke - The Eraser (XXXChange Mix)
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Stretch & Vern Edit)
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Satoshi Tomiie Reconstruction Edit)

BONUS:
In case you missed these (from December).
Approved (& upped at the time) by Thom himself:

Thom Yorke - The Clock (Surgeon Remix)

"First there is Surgeon's Rmx of "The Clock." This was the one that made me think, we got to start getting these out. I was chuffed he wanted to do it as think he is a MASTER. He has turned it into something really hard. And disco. Well what I call disco anyhow. It made me very proud.
I hope it gets played in a club somewhere. Not that I get out much nowadays." - Thom Yorke

Thom Yorke - Analyse (Various Productions Remix)

"This is a deranged twist of "Analyse" by Various Productions. I got into them after hearing Hater off their Lp The World is Gone." - Thom Yorke

Wax On, Wax Off.

I'm sure you've all read about this massive title (literally).

"Most Of the remixes we’ve made over the years except for the one for Einsturzende Neubauten because we lost it and a few we didn’t think sounded good enough or just didn’t fit in length-wise. But including some that are hard to find because either people forgot about them or just simply because they haven’t been released yet. A few we really love. One we think is just OK. Some we did for free. Some we did for money. Some just for ourselves without permission and some for friends as swaps but never on time and always at our studio in Ghent"

Or "Most Of the remixes" for short.

A 2CD set, one of the remixes the other of the remixed mixed in a mix.

Preorder @ Amazon (and thank them for the artwork above)

Thank Soulwax themselves for the picture below and for creating the most confusing web site on Earth (where the world was that music coming from)!

A picture couldn't get blurrier. And couldn't be more 'borrowed' from their myspace page.

UPDATE:
For those that read all the way to the bottom check out this little present (I found the music, why I didn't realise it was there in the first place... ask their web designer).

Hype much?

Ok, so someone got a bit overzealous. Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas fame (or vice versa, depending on how cool you are) recently recorded a track that heavily 'sample' Daft Punk, much like Kayne, but with one main difference. Will forgot to forgot to check with the folks from Never Ever Land first. But that's not all. Not only did he record the track he also made the video. I reckon Daft Punk just said no to stop an even bigger tsunami of requests for more sample clearance, since Kanye's hit. Check 'em out below:

The never-to-be-released-Daft-Punk-sample version:
Will.I.Am - I Got It From My Mama (ft Daft Punk Sample)

The released-un-Daft-Punk-sample-less-good version:

What has happened to the world?!

What a start to my (unsuccessfully searches thesaurus for opposite of impossible) successful career as a blogger, a half drunken tirade, about something shit anyway, at 5:39 in the afternoon.

Hi, I'm Disgoisum. It's my secret identity, thats how successfully I'm going to be/am (obviously).
Point: It has taken me exactly 1 month to find out about apple's new love child the 'Ipod Classic', (yes they need extra promotion) what is this the 6th generation? yeah that's classic alright. Anyway how the fuck did i not know about it? No idea. Cries into empty glass. I want one. Fuck apple. It's 160GB of portable mp3 player-ness. For roughly the same price as my first 160GB Lacie external.

Anyways tirade over. This is/will be the best music blog of all time. My taste is eclectic, for want of a better word to describe that i like lots of music that you probably don't. And after a lack of careful consideration I present to you... something I found elsewhere (here). Visit it. Read/Download.

(It's some Manson remixes, as I am seeing him tonight, at a concert, not a date, although it should be awesomely/crazy/fun/involve-goats-blood, everything your usual date would contain, so I can see the possible confusion. Just the first step, of many, in making you realise how random my tastes are)

Something substantial for you ears later... (that means come back)... now... where are my earplugs.
