This one's been pick up by everyman and his blog and for good reason! It's Cut Copy's new track for all those Halloween junkies (or if your Australian like me) out there here's the 'haunting' link (ooh that was bad):
Cut Copy - So Haunted
And here's a remix (not of haunted) that hasn't been picked up much at all, but is well worth the downloading (kicks in just before the minute mark):

Klickity Klaxons Are Back
Click for the biggest picture I've ever seen
Klaxons are back in OZ for a short stint of concerts, continuing their touring after they had to cancel their last effort after a stage diving incident. Lol.
Anyway as a tribute to them, check out these goodies.
Klaxons - As Above, So Below (Non-French Justice Remix)
Klaxons - As Above, So Below (French version)
I got the French version from Electroclash, it's a really cool blog, and they've been posting a lot about the Klaxons (check out their store) lately.
Stay tuned for more Justice... and I mean more!

New Yorke, New Yorke (Sort Of)
Sort of, as in it's not all exactly 'new'. But it is all Yorke, Thom Yorke in fact (pictured above, gettin' his mud on). I've decided that uni is not completly gay today. Since it's the last week and my net at home has been slowed down, I decided to use my remaining bandwidth at Uni to up some tracks. Scroll down for the goodness.
Brought to us by: XXXChange (from Spank Rock), Stretch & Vern, Satahsi Tomiie
Here are the tracks:
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (XXXChange Mix)
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Stretch & Vern Edit)
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Satoshi Tomiie Reconstruction Edit)
BONUS:
In case you missed these (from December). Approved (& upped at the time) by Thom himself:
Thom Yorke - The Clock (Surgeon Remix)
"First there is Surgeon's Rmx of "The Clock." This was the one that made me think, we got to start getting these out. I was chuffed he wanted to do it as think he is a MASTER. He has turned it into something really hard. And disco. Well what I call disco anyhow. It made me very proud. I hope it gets played in a club somewhere. Not that I get out much nowadays." - Thom Yorke
Thom Yorke - Analyse (Various Productions Remix)

Gay, Gay, Gay!
Yep that's three gays!
Gay 1: Uni is being extremely gay atm. But alas, only a couple of days left, then study week, then 3 exams (over two weeks), and then I'm done for the year!
Gay 2: Gay ass bandwidth! Only a couple of days left until I get a new internet provider, with 25 gigs of download pleasure. Until then you might be lonely. Check back soon, or check yourself (and by yourself I mean the opposite) & get yourself my feed.
Gay 3: Gay Children's Characters. Seriously, WTF!? I mean "not that there's anything wrong with that":
Ernest & Bertram
The Simpsons
References
The above are examples of greatness, but below...
Harry Potter
Seriously. Dumbledore. Gay!? Isn't that impossible? He's a fictional character, in a series that never mentioned his sexuality at all. Doesn't that make it non-existent?? Or is there a secret spin-off that no-one told me about?
Anyways... (Did someone say isn't this a music blog?)
In the spirit of gayness, check out...
Electric Six - Gay Bar (The Young Punx Mix)
(This song is mega old by the way the original Electric Six track was out 2003/4ish. No idea about the date of this Young Punx Mix, but it's pretty cool (and fits with the them of the post perfectly, and I can't be bothered upping the original, as I'm sure you've heard it, and it would take me 20mins)
Until I get more bandwidth, I'm going to sleep.

Wax On, Wax Off.
I'm sure you've all read about this massive title (literally).
"Most Of the remixes we’ve made over the years except for the one for Einsturzende Neubauten because we lost it and a few we didn’t think sounded good enough or just didn’t fit in length-wise. But including some that are hard to find because either people forgot about them or just simply because they haven’t been released yet. A few we really love. One we think is just OK. Some we did for free. Some we did for money. Some just for ourselves without permission and some for friends as swaps but never on time and always at our studio in Ghent"
Or "Most Of the remixes" for short.

Thank Soulwax themselves for the picture below and for creating the most confusing web site on Earth (where the world was that music coming from)!
A picture couldn't get blurrier. And couldn't be more 'borrowed' from their myspace page.
UPDATE:
For those that read all the way to the bottom check out this little present (I found the music, why I didn't realise it was there in the first place... ask their web designer).

WTF! Hype Over Hype Hack!
I don't know what the fuck just happened but the count, whilst waiting for The New Hype Machine, to reach 10,000 suddenly catapults to billions! Or at leats 812 Million at last count.
I reckon some hackers got tired of waiting, either that or Hype decided to make it look that way so it didn't seem like they were cop'n out of their seemingly overambitious 10,000 viewers.
My first finding is from the guys who are gracing Australia's shores one the first day of next year for Field Day, which I'm missing so they better do a side show, Spank Rock remixed by Best Fwends. My best description of this track would by confusingly addictive.
Just Listen.
Heres the Track:
Spank Rock - Bump (Best Fwends Remix)
From Here, Who Themselves got it from Here who...
UPDATE:
Hype just admitted they did it themselves, for us. How sweet.

'The Streets' Favourite Things
Picture and a review of the show at Webster Hall back in June over at The Modern Age
I got the same treatment when Mr Skinner came out to Aus in '04 and played at Enmore Theatre in Newtown. Except it was Whiskey and it was twice. A mouthful the first time, and Mike demanding I take part in a competition to skull the most. Um... free/'The Streets' booze... Hell Yes.
Anyway point of the post is, I came across a little gem on youtube of Mike & his mate Mayhem. A list of the first nine awseomes things that come to their head. Including:
Shots contests,
Champagne,
Hallucinogenics,
Smirking ("I'm Gonna find you a gay man." Shouts "Gay man". Clicks fingers. "Oi"),
A Shameless plug,
Mike Skinner shirtless (If our into that, see above smirking comment...)
And Last but not least number nine:
A Home made video of the new rage against the machine remix
Check out the antics after the drop.
Drop.

Shot of Oizo? Or some SebastiAn?
This track has all been around for a while but I dig it. It got a lot of love at the Parklife festival at the start of this month. Heard it about 3 times.
Not entirely sure who it's by. There's a bit of Debate. More Debate (in the 21 comments) & a cool vid. But either way its by good shit.

'Dancing For Dummies' brought to you by: Spoon-Gheddi
3-Man DJ Conglomerate from Sydney, Australia.
Known for 'serving dishes of filthy pants tearing electro'
This mix is banging. Some many different genres, yet all the beats roll into one giant orgy of orgasmic electronic dance remix satisfaction. This one's for people looking for something new and innovative, something more then all the latest hot tracks and a cross fader.
Dancing Time: 67:47
The only thing that really worried me was the ether.
There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge.
And I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon...

Radiohead & 42:40
In Rainbows is on the way... I just hope they they included they cover art in the zip. Gotta love some good cover art. Hope the musics good too, buts there's not much chance it wont be is there! I'm hoping for Kid A/Amnesica twist to the songs!
Here it comes...
Ohh nice... I'll let you listen to it for yourselves...
Check out the same link i told you to for Muscles if you were too lazy to pay nothing for it legitimately.
I'm curious to know how many downloads they've had. Its got to set the record. Break it 10 folds my guess.
UPDATE:
I read over at Idolator, that with some very tentative calculations they may have made 5 million pounds already.
My fave tracks:
Number 1: Radiohead - 15 Steps
Number 2: Radiohead - Bodysnatchers

Field Day anyone?
Field Day (Sold Out).
I missed out. I'm pissed off. Would have been awesome. One thing that lightens my mood tho it that these bastards: spejsmen & candy-girl-fashion think they can make a billion percent profit. Ha. Bring on the fake bids.
Funny thing is, in this auction, the bid started at $1, whereas these people, actually think they can get $950 for two! R-tards.

Pussy... Cat... without the cat
Here's some tracks that have been getting me pumped lately:
Track #1:
Peter Bjorn & John vs The Pack - Young Folks Pussy (Diplo Mash-Up)
"It's my pussy I can do what I want, humph, I'm a big girl now"
"Tap. Tap. Where the pussy at?"
Love playing this Diplo Mash-Up to people that like the original PB&J (thats not a reference to peanut butter an jelly, hello... Australian, it's fucking Jam already) tune just to see their reaction. Chilled song, yet fast beat. Still with the catchy whistling, with hip-hop vocals via The Pack's Candy.
You can find the original vocal track of 'Candy' over at disco-not-disco. Pitchfork's review here.
Track #2...
Is just now being put on hold due to an unforeseen invite to the pub. Gotta do what you gotta do. I was gonna hold out on this one, didn't wanna be one of those people letting everyone know where the free albums are at! (buy if you like people). Nevertheless, If you dig Melbourne, Australia's 'Muscles' you may find a special surprise if you head over to Nodatta. That's all I'm saying.

My True Identity
Me:
Check out the Soulwax - Miserable Girl (Remix) & The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar (Remix) over at the bowl. Brought to you by Shinichi Osawa (Remixes) & Dave from Compton.lol.(Blogger). I'm really diggin' the Soulwax. Chems is still d/l'n now... oh wait. It's done. It's rock'n my socks too. Bloc-Party-esque-ish? Anyone else getting that vibe? I like it.
Also, check it. Saw these somewhere a while back. Genius.

What has happened to the world?!
What a start to my (unsuccessfully searches thesaurus for opposite of impossible) successful career as a blogger, a half drunken tirade, about something shit anyway, at 5:39 in the afternoon.
Hi, I'm Disgoisum. It's my secret identity, thats how successfully I'm going to be/am (obviously).
Point: It has taken me exactly 1 month to find out about apple's new love child the 'Ipod Classic', (yes they need extra promotion) what is this the 6th generation? yeah that's classic alright. Anyway how the fuck did i not know about it? No idea. Cries into empty glass. I want one. Fuck apple. It's 160GB of portable mp3 player-ness. For roughly the same price as my first 160GB Lacie external.
Anyways tirade over. This is/will be the best music blog of all time. My taste is eclectic, for want of a better word to describe that i like lots of music that you probably don't. And after a lack of careful consideration I present to you... something I found elsewhere (here). Visit it. Read/Download.
(It's some Manson remixes, as I am seeing him tonight, at a concert, not a date, although it should be awesomely/crazy/fun/involve-goats-blood, everything your usual date would contain, so I can see the possible confusion. Just the first step, of many, in making you realise how random my tastes are)
Something substantial for you ears later... (that means come back)... now... where are my earplugs.
